EngineeringTurboPower Renewables has the capability to perform the design and specifications of the engineering activities for roads, foundations and electric collector systems.

TurboPower Renewables also utilizes strategic alliances with engineering companies, among others, to pull together engineering resources to support the work, particularly in the design detail for substations and transmission lines.

Effective planning and programming are key activities for the success of the project, and TurboPower Renewables project management staff continuously reviews, monitor and updates the plans and programs of the project to assure that the project is completed on time.

TurboPower Renewables and its team of engineers perform in detail the design and specifications of the civil and electric works. The civil and geotechnical engineering team produces wind generator foundation designs that are practical and viable with emphasis on reasoned costs that respond to the terrain requirements for each site.

The engineering group works closely with local and regional firms to obtain the geo-technical and geophysical information necessary for each site foundation design. This information, in conjunction with the data, specifications and information from the wind generator manufacturer, allows the engineers to develop the appropriate foundation design for any project, and at the same time, utilizes the skills and experience of its team to optimize the engineering design to produce a final solutions that is both efficient and practical in construction costs.

The civil engineering team also designs and maps out the roads and infrastructure of the project, utilizing the geotechnical information to define road construction of the project. The TurboPower Renewables electrical engineering team applies their skills and knowledge into the design of electrical collection systems for each wind farm project site. The electrical engineering team works in conjunction with local and regional companies to perform tests to define thermal and electrical resistance characteristics of the project site and at the same time perform the appropriate electric design studies that allows TurboPower Renewables to define the configurations and characteristics of the cables to be used and optimize the installation cost and minimize electric losses.

Generally, TurboPower Renewables utilizes its strategic alliances to subcontract the construction of substations and transmission under a Design-build base, the TurboPower engineering team performs the review and approval process for the detail design submitted by the contractor, by this process TurboPower assures the compliance of the project specifications. A similar process is put in place for all works subcontracted thru strategic alliances on the development of the project.
